Cleaning your Brewer |
|
- Unplug your coffee machine and allow to cool before cleaning.
- Clean outside of the machine by wiping with a clean, damp, nonabrasive cloth.
- Slide the drip tray toward you to remove and wash with warm, soapy water or place in the top rack of the dishwasher.
- Remove the K-cup holder by grasping the top with one hand and pushing up from the bottom with the other hand. Pull the funnel from the holder to remove. Wash the K-cup holder and funnel with warm, soapy water or place in the top rack of the dishwasher.
- Remove water reservoir from machine and wash it in the sink with warm, sudsy water or place in the dishwasher. The lid is not dishwasher-safe.
- Replace all parts that have been cleaned.
- Drain any water from your Keurig coffee maker.
- Fill the reservoir with 48 oz. of undiluted white vinegar (B100 uses 64 ounces of vinegar, and the mini personal brewer uses 8 oz.).
- Place a ceramic cup on the drip tray.
- Brew the vinegar into the cup then pour into the sink. Brew three more times.
- Fill the reservoir with fresh water and allow the machine to sit for four hours.
- Brew again until the reservoir is empty of all water.
